In Islamic teachings, this Eid (festival) is a reward/blessing from Allah (God) for people who fasted the Holy Month of Ramadan. In Syria and other Arab countries people celebrate the Islamic festival called Eid Al Fitr (In Arabic: the fasting festival). The whole city is thriving and full of life. It is recommended that one should visit Syria during any time of the year but especially during Eid Al Fitr festival. Everyone is invited to this hospitable country to enjoy its glamour and passion and to meet its hospitable people.
